My mate booked us a holiday with teletext once and it was fab - we went to Zante, we had all the details before we went and we researched the hotel and stuff before we went. We didn't have any probs. Let me know what you decide to do? xxx

they do holidays but they are just alot cheaper than most, you can go onto their website or phone them or just stick you tv on text and there are pages of different destinations to choose from

Heres a very honest comment guys.

I work for teletext holidays. Basically different companys advertise on there and my company is one of them. The reason they are often cheaper is we don't always use Tour Operators...like Thomsons/First Choice/Thomas Cook etc etc....we can buy the flights and add on transfers and acc.

The problem is when you look on Teletext, they are not advertised for specific dates. My biggest gripe is customers see a deal...for eg. Mexico Sept £699 All Inclusive...it doesnt state which airport its from, it doesnt state the exact date (sometimes they do), how many passengers its based on, what star rating etc etc. When you phone, you may want a 4 Star from London on Sept the 1st and the offer is a 2 star from Glasgow on the 26th....the price can go up hundreds if you do not choose the exact offer.

Basically most independent travel agents can do the same deals. At Teletext we don't get amazing exclusive offers, we are just very experienced in finding the best deals out there. I keep my clients coz I spend hours reading reviews etc prior to booking.

The website is better. You put in the info you want...then ring for an exact costing. The reason you have to call is coz for example some self catering may be based on 4 passengers and there is only 2 of you going etc. There are sometimes a few extras to be added for example the inflight meals/transfers (if you want them).
