Just to let you all know, me and LT are over!!! lol

I have just had my worst "blip" ever!!! I can't really say it was a blip-it was a banquet!!!

This is my own fault for not doing refeed wholeheartedly when i knew i was at the end of the line with the diet..

What a plonker i am!!! Right on top of weigh in day!! lol

I was going to start refeed tomorrow, but should i do a couple of days TFR first to get me back into ketosis?

Part of me is happy cos it has really brought it home to me that i cannot do LT any more for now, and need to get Xmas over with.. The other part is just full up of rubbish food!! lol

I will let you all know how i get on after my weigh in tomorrow x x

I would say go ahead and refeed cos u dont want it to happen again. On the other hand im on refeed now and not having any craving, im really just eating cos the sheet tells me to and im not tempted to stray off the sheet... Perhaps that wouldnt have been the case if i hadnt started it in keytosis. Not having craving or desire for more is a huge bonus as its getting me used to eating small portions of healithy food and teaching me that i dont need junk. If u think u have unleashed a desire for non refeed food r that u wouldnt stick to the refeed then maybe a few days of tfr would b better to get u refocused and back on track so that u can refeed properly. Im here if u need anything su and ill c u in refeed and maintenance soon either way hun. Xx

    Hi Su
Don't be too hard on yourself. You've done really well. I knocked myself out of ketosis last Sunday, got back into ketosis on Tuesday night and have been good enough since. My weigh in day is Tuesday & because I was holding onto water because I knocked myself out of ketosis, I didn't even bother going to weigh in last Tues, cause as a daily weigher, I knew I stayed the same as last week. During the week, I had shake for breakfast & lunch every day, but for about 3 days I had some protein. I know I've lost this week, cause I've checked. But really what I've discovered is that I have to control my eating for the rest of my life, not just while on LT. I can't ever go back to eating the same things in the same amount or I'll find even with a refeed, I'll end up back where I was in September. And as much as I'd like to say goodbye to lipotrim for ever, I have a feeling I'll be revisiting from time to time, cause it's the only thing that works for me. But I'll NEVER be on it for 5 or 6 months again - I'll never let myself get THAT out of control ever again.
I know you are in a dilemma about what to do, what with your OH wanting to do LT in new year etc. It doesn't matter whether you refeed tomorrow or next week, as long as, in your head, you're happy that you're not going back to where you were in September. Whatever you decide to do, it will be right for you.
    Best of luck
    Suse

I think just go ahead and refeed Su, it's what you need now, I don't think doing tfr for a couple of days is going to help much so just go for it, enjoy eating, just try to remember the journey you've been on with LT. You're going to do great anyway, it's you!! xxx

Su, you have probably lost more huni but some will be water showing up from eating. I think you have made your mind up to re-feed now and come back in the new year, i think you will feel better when you have settled on this decision huni, good luck with re-feed. xxx
