Ok everyone, not quite the same as holidays but, 5 years ago I went to Alton Towers. I was a few stone bigger than I am now about 20 stone and a size 26 in trousers.
I went on a few rides but when I went to go on air they told me I had to get off as the restraints wouldn't close.
It was very embarrassing and put me off theme parks for life.
Now I'm 18 stone and a size 22/24 in trousers and my boyfriend has booked tickets for Chessington for a surprise for my birthday. I'm going in to panic mode about fitting on the rides.
On the website it says torso size of above 51 inches are not suitable. I measured around my middle and that is 44 inches and around my chest including boobs is 46 inches but around my hips is 58 so I'm not sure what part of the torso they mean.
Any experiences, rides people have been on that are a similar size to me or if anyone knows what part of the torso they mean would be appreciated.
