Am starting on Monday (once I've been shopping) and so am just getting myself sorted out for the "change".

I'm vegetarian and so follow green days only and will keep track of my intake in my food diary :)

My Guidelines/Tips

  • [STRIKE]Sugar[/STRIKE] = Sweetener
  • [STRIKE]Butter/Buttery Marg[/STRIKE] = Flora Light or Cheese spread
  • Drinks - Diet coke, fizzy water, tap water, no added sugar squash, highlights hot choc, lemon tea, coffee, tea.
  • Limit bread intake or use ww
  • Parboil SW Chips in microwave
  • Use EV olive oil for roasties
  • No fried foods, no crisps (addicted), no pastry, no pizza
  • Use frylite to replace oil for SW chips/roasties
  • Low fat cheese
  • Stop eating when full and only eat when hungry
  • Sweet tooth - highlights hot choc, yoghurts, fruit
  • Limit snacking - 2-3 meals per day

Hi, TheMissus, i'm beginning my food diary tomorrow and its nice to see how another member on the green plan is doing. Did you use a HEXA at all or does it not matter due to the fact you've taken 2 HEXB instead?

On a side note, how do you cope with cravings in between meals. After lunch at work (1pm) and i have dinner soon as i get home (8pm). i find it hard just munching on fruit as a snack in between. Wondering on suggestions if possible?

I do have the HExA's too. Last year when I was doing the SW plan I used them for milk for cereal or the odd cuppa and I like to use the laughing cow extra light triangles too, you can have 6 laughing cow triangles per 1 A choice per day, I use them instead of spread/butter or mashed up in potatoes.

I find the day time really easy to be honest, I'm one of those who would ordinarily eat nothing all day and then from 7pm I would binge all night. So making myself eat during the day is quite strange at first, am sure I'll get into the swing of things though, it's my first day back on it today.
Now is my testing time but I'm not feeling tempted as I'm still full from dinner. I just need to keep my hands busy so I don't get bored and feel the urge, am hanging out here and making a bracelet too, hopefully I'll have an early night as well.

Not really much of a fruit person but love my veggies. :)

I add them in after I've eaten rather than plan everything out, so edit my post after I've finished something and add it in.

Just finished dinner and have added them in, realised I hadn't used many syns so had a spicy bean burger instead of a quorn burger to use a few up.

Have you tried the quorn and chillli burger recipe in the 100 green recipe book. Even though they didnt come out exactly how i thought, they were more appetite filling than ordinary quorn burgers!

I've done SW twice before, once when I was 19 and then again last year, lost a few stone both times but then stopped doing the plan, hopefully I'll stick with it this time.

The evening is always my time to have a good munch. Child in bed, soaps on that I've recorded and then food. I haven't really changed that too much except I'm having my dinner much earlier and saving maybe a HEx and some syns in case I want something later on. Am trying to keep busy too and go to bed earlier.

I weigh in on Sunday, looking forward to it! Where's the rice pudding recipe? Wouldn't mind a go of that, not much of a sweet tooth but would be nice to have something occasionally, more so if it's syn free. :)
