Things I Can Do Now...

    ...which I couldn't do before I embarked on my joyous voyage that is the Cambridge Weight Plan! : -

    1. Walk up stairs / hills without feeling like I'm going to have a heart attack.

    2. Get in the bath without it overflowing.

    3. Lift myself up from the bath without feeling like my forearms are going to break!

    4. Get into my old clothes which I "grew out"of.

    5. Not worry about breaking a chair when I sit on it :)

    6. Take up just one seat on the train, as opposed to the previous seat and a third!

    7. Accept compliments from loved ones about how good I look.

    That's all I can think of right now, anyone else?

    - go to alton towers and not panic about not fitting on the rides

    - start horse riding again :)

    - go out in public with my head held high

    - have photos taken and look in mirrors !!

    - actually feel sexy when 'in the sack ' with hubby

    - go into a normal clothes shop and find clothes that fit :)

    - run up the stairs

    - have a bath

    - see my feet !

    Clip my toenails

    cross my legs

    fit in a plane seat

    put my own socks on

    tie my own shoe laces

    Walk around shops in a coat without pasing out from the heat!

    Take my pants off without falling over ( always a bonus!)

    Bend over to put washing in without crushing myself

    Things some people take for granted, I know, but these are the things that bring me joy now!!

    - bend over and reach my feet in the shower
    - see my bits for "gardening" (previously my stomach got in the way)
    - not struggle to access my bits when wiping myself after the toilet (was gobsmacked when I started struggling with that one!)
    - bend over and do up my shoelaces
    - cross my ankle over my knee to put shoes on
    - look people in the eye :D
    - wear two layers of clothes without feeling like the michelin man!

    Totally and utterly with you on that one Goreygirl! I couldn't believe that had happened to me!!

    Winky, I love being able to cross my legs now! Had a celebratory ceremony at work to show everyone lol!
