** Think Positive Thursday Daily Thread**

Morning all :)

Well I am on day 3 of getting back onto 100 % and always find it the toughest day ... so I will keep myself busy busy and get to bed early .. hopefully !!

I got my tesco club card vouchers through yesterday so when I have droppped Elena at pre school I am going to a huge tesco to try and find some nice clothes or some boots ... hopefully get the kids a few bits too ... its a shame they arent doubling them up this time as £60 would get me so much more , but £30 isnt bad :) then I will do lots of tidying and come on here lots to see me SS+ing until I get back to last weeks weight and then back onto 810 as my BMI is 25 .. so another 2 lb to go :)

Hope you are all well today and feeling positive :)

Hope today goes well Katie - you seem nice and busy. I can't belive how close you are to goal - it must feel fantastic.

I'm eating a lumpy(shake) bleugh - at the moment - managed to melt my blender day before yesterday - lumpy shakes are foul - guess i better go shopping and buy a new blender today

Well today is Thursday as you say this week has gone so quick! Lots of laundry to do but all my big jobs were done yesterday so me and Amber are going to play dollies and then watch kids tv, I'm going to watch wall street 2 tho afternoon, I usually have my ss+ meal at lunch but I may have it this evening instead.
Period is here with a vengeance and I have a really sore back too, I hope it doesn't stay long!

Have a lovely day one and all! Xxxx

Morning all, Katie I also got £3o of T vouchers yesterday, I treated Master T and I to the Bambi DVD out of ours, I can't wait to watch it together when there is a gap in the Six Nations at the weekend.

Uugh lumpy shakes, poor you Setas, just close your eyes and swallow them down......hope you get fixed up with a new blender today.

I definitely think you're taking the right approach to your horrid t.o.t.m Lancsgirl, you deserve to take it a bit easier, hope you've got something for the back ache.

Well I am cooking a casserole for my boys, then looking after my nephew. This afternoon we are going to see one of my mum's best friends in a lovely cafe, but I will stick to water or coffee, shouldn't have a problem feeling tempted as am so happy to have finally lost my 1st 2stone today. 2 down 4 and a half to go to a healthy weight. x

Been on the loo all night from 3am!! Was in so much pain :(

And still not lost the 2lb I put on from Tuesday! An I drank soo much yday :( I'm gutted! Yday my stomach was fully hard and bloated and I looked pregnant!

Morning all,

Another day of work for me and also day 36 of SS 100%, I've lost 36lbs in 36 days lol!

Don't have much planned, have a nice early finish at 2pm, then going to take my grandmother shopping and then chill out for the night!

Hope you all have a great day!

Morning Ladies --

@Katie & Mrs T -- I got my Club Card Vouchers yesterday, too. But, I noticed that they now can be used for the Good Food Show at a steep discount... so I am considering doing that with them (Food Porn). ;)

@Setas -- I have a Braun Stick blender and use the tall LL mixing cup and it works fantastic. And is very portable.

@LancsGirl -- I'm impressed... I am always working on the big jobs. It sounds like you have a lovely day planned.

@Kimmie -- It'll come off. You are probably retaining some water, and once that goes you'll show a loss.

My DD is home poorly again! And, I am behind (as usual) on getting things done --

it is (in part)the whole ADD thing (attention deficit disorder) and
(it is more so) living with a bunch of people who think that they have maid service, a chauffeur, cook, seamstress, tutor, gardner, personal shopper... etc. On call 24/7!

This morning DD was sick in the bathroom sink of the bathroom she shares with her 19 year old brother. It is his job to keep that bathroom clean. But, I know he has a weak stomach, so I went to clean it before he got up -- and even though my husband checked the sink for sick and told me there was residue; I suspected that he wouldn't bother to clean it up.

Well, of course, the mess was still there for me -- but what was even worse -- the room was filthy! So, the next thing I know I am doing a huge scrub of the room... when I have a dozen other things "on progress". It's done, but I am no where near finished with my other jobs. C'est la vie.

What a lovely way to start the day. ;)

Ok, confession time. Was day 3 yesterday, and was doing so well....until we had friends over and I ended up eating a big handful of ready salted crisps and 5 skittles. I am mentally kicking myself right now, as I didn't resist. New day today...doing well so far, but really disappointed in myself as I know I am better than this.

Is really the habit of snacking that is difficult for me, as I gained my weight slowly over the years by grazing.

Any advice from you lovely ladies would be appreciated. Am on ss, but my CDC says that a couple of ss+ meals a week if I am struggling is ok. What are the weight loss differences you guys find between the 2?

Ok, rant over...have a good day all...peppermint tea and water helping!

Ive not done ss+, but comments on here always say there's only 1 or 2 lb a month difference. So well worth it if it keeps you on the straight and narrow!

Think positive Thursday! I like that!

I have been to power plates this morning. I love it! Felt dizzy about 10mins in though - so think my body is still recovering from the antibiotics. I'm not booked in again until Monday, so should be upto it by then!

Concentrating on my water again today. Really hoping for a big loss to get me to 200lbs! Might need to wait until the week after though!

Hope everyone's having a good day!

setas - eww lumpy shakes are nasty !! I only have choc mint and use a shaker , but I find its the only one that doesnt end up lumpy .. hope you get a good blender soon

Mrs T .. aaww I love bambi , although it always makes me cry !!

Kimmie .. are you constipated do you mean ?? that 2lb will shift if you stick to the plan 100 % and keep drinking :)

- Mm hope your daughter is better soon , sounds like a lovely start to the morning .. at least it would put you off any thoughts of food I guess !!!

I have just got back from thr big tesco and spend my vouchers ( and ahem .. a bit more ) on a pair of knee high boots ( that are normal width and zip all the way up to the top :D ) and a knee length skirt .. and a new lipstick ( apart from my wedding dont think I hav worn lippy for years !!) and mascara ....... ;)

I am 1 litre of water down so far and not had a shake yet ... I like to save them for later :)

NN -- 5 Skittles and handful of crisps. I think you'll live! ;)

Drink some extra water to flush out the sodium, and walk a bit more to burn off the calories.

It is not what you ate... but that you ate. It might better to move up in plans -- eat a little and food that is actually fuel.

That is what I am doing. I am planning to work up in pland as get closer to goal, in hope that it will help me learn to manage my losses long-term.

I found moving up in plans very helpful. I am at a bmi of about 26, nearly 50 years ola, and have done a VLCD previously (so have reduced leptin levels)... but even on an 810 plan I am still losing about 2 pounds a week on the average. And, as I am adding exercise my losses seem to be improving, and if I was better about the water -- I think I would improve my losses even more so.

As you do not have your stats posted in your profile -- I cannot try to do a BMR and figure out an estimated "rate of burn", but if you can stick to 810 then you will lose better than "cheating" on SS.

Good Luck -- I would recommend talking to your CDC.

Nope not constipated! Lol was rushing to the loo every 5mins! Yday I was being sick and this morning coming out the other end lol

I've had my ss+ meal and once again I feel
Like crap! Had this yesterday too!
So from
Tomorrow I'm just gonna do ss for a few days to see if the meal is the reason im feeling like poop!

What was in your meal? Maybe you have a sensitivity?

Today was tuna and broccoli yesterday was cottage cheese and cauliflower, I don't think I really need it either surely the shakes are enough for me'

@LancsGirl -- Is it possible you have a lactose intolerance? A mild one will cause wind, and worse intolerances loose movements, vomitting, etc. You can develop a sensitivity at any time in your life, and having so little other food might make the cottage cheese afffect you more so.

If you decide to stay on 810 try it without dairy and see if you fare any better.

Thanks so much x

Thanks MM...today a better day already. Learned my lesson. Also, the soup is yummy and I have a savoury tooth so it helps amongst all the sweet shakes!

100% day, here we go!

hey :) The most important thing is just getting back on track rather than the old ' well i've blown it now so may as well stuff myself ( surpringly easy to do ) ' We all struggle to get out of this habit and you just need to be really strict and be more aware .... but like Mm says , its unlikely you have done any damage ..... so draw a line under it and get on with shedding the weight .. and learn a lesson from it and hopefully you wont do it again !!
