This is a Question about water on CD for KD

Hi KD unsure if your about and can give us all some info about water on CD.
I read another site and this is what I have coped and pasted ,can I ask how much water is safe

ON WEEK 3 I READ SO MANY THREADS SAYING MORE WATER THE BETTER, SO I WAS TAKING 4 LITRES A DAY, I DIDNT LOOSE THAT WEEK AND MY CDC SAID I WAS DROWNING MYSELF, FOR WEEK 4 I RETURNED TO 2.5 LITRES A DAY AND THE WEIGHT CAME OFF AGAIN. SO DONT BE FOOLED, FIND YOUR OWN LIMITS


 
Yep, no truth in the 'more you drink the more you shrink' saying. It's a nasty myth that goes around.

It is important to have at least 2.25L on this diet as being a ketogenic diet it can be dehydrating so important for kidney health etc. Also too little could cause water retention so upset the scales.

So, 2.25L minimum. More if you have tetras and bars. There isn't much need for anything over 4.5L.

3L is about a good average for most people :)
