thread vein removal - anyone had treatment?

this time - the last time
Just after some advice.
I have terrible thread veins near my ankles, and refuse to go out with my legs on show. Now I am losing weight, this might become an issue, as I might want to start wearing shorter dresses!
Groupon have an offer today for 4 thread vein removal sessions. I just wondered whether anyone had had treatment? How many sessions did you need? How effective was it?
The discount is amazing - I wouldn't be able to afford any additional sessions, so just want to see if anyone has any advice?

If you ask in the shout Box at the top of the page it might attract more attention.

Sorry I can't help to answer your question, hopefully someone will be along shortly who can.
Hi there
I had one on my nose of all places and had the surgery. It didn't hurt as such certainly not as much as I thought. If you've had a tattoo your about on a par with that.mine only needed two sessions but it wasn't huge or very dark. My other suggestion would be don't pick afterwards and try not to wear clothes that will rub the area. Good luck if you decide to go for it.
I have!

Hi there Jayellekay,

I have had the VeinWave treatment for thread veins on my cheeks, nose, and neck. I have to say I was a little sceptical as my mother had already tried other treatments and the results were ok but not amazing. I've now had three treatments and I love the results. Most of the veins have gone on my nose and the neck and cheek ones have disappeared. I would recommend it to anyone who is worried about thread veins. If you are in or around London please go and visit these ladies: (Dermal Fillers, Wrinkle Treatment, Anti Ageing Wrinkle Removal, Vein Treatment) They have been doing the treatment for years and are both so lovely. Pain wise, I would disagree with Reptara, I've had tattoos and it didnt hurt anywhere near as much as they did, but it isnt pleasant by any means. They just insert the small needle into the vein, press the heat button and then pull it out. It stings and obviously depending on where you are treating some areas are more sensitive than others. They would also put Lidocaine on the area so it would be numbed slightly. If it bothers you, go for it as this is the best treatment I have come across!

Good Luck, let us know how you get on!
