Tight calf muscles

WHen I exercise my muscles in my calf get like a cramp feeling where they get so tight. I stretch them but usually that's what stops me during a class. Not being worn out, just pain in my calves.
Anyone else?
I do stretch before during after, just does nothing. Could my muscles be to short?

I have the same problem. I was told to try ten mins of brisk walking on an incline (treadmill) before doing any running. Never did it as I hate running lol. But stretching out on the power plate helps reduce soreness for me?
