    Hi everyone! I had a diary on here a year ago and I think I managed to lose around 10lbs but then I was really struggling to lose anymore so I switched over to WW as I knew that worked for me. I lost a stone on WW and then got married and went on honeymoon to the fabulous Maldives :candledinner:! Somehow I only put 2lbs back on over that time which is great. I don't have a huge amount I want to lose but I definitely don't want to put any on so am going to follow SW as for me it seems it is a healthier plan than WW. All in all I only want to lose another half a stone so I can be comfortable in a size 12 (I wear 12 tops now but struggle to always get in a size 12 bottom!) so thought I would start a diary back up on here as I may have forgotten some SW 'rules' and thought you nice people might help to keep me on track!! I'm going to aim to lose 4lbs before Christmas (that will take me down the next stone bracket yay!). So here goes......

    First day back I am going to try Extra Easy today which was fairly new when I switched to WW at the start of this year, so I hope I can remember the plan...please correct me and pass on any tips if there is something I'm not doing right :)

    1 HEA - 5 x LC light triangles
    1 HEB - 2 x Alpen Lights
    12.5 Syns - 1/3 jar Patak's Pasanda Sauce (10), ketchup (1), milk (1.5)

    Breakfast:
    2 x egg omelette, 1/3 tin baked beans

    Lunch:
    Pasta with 5 x LC light triangles (HEA), Shape LS yoghurt

    Dinner:
    Chicken,potato,onion in Pasanda sauce (10 syns) with rice and SW chips

    Snacks:
    2 x Alpen Lights (HEB), Banana

    Drink:
    3 x coffee (1.5 syns milk)
    Green Tea with cranberry
    Orange & Mango fruit Tea
    3 x NAS squash

    Friday 13th Nov :eek: - everyone be extra careful today lol

    Well yesterday turned out to be a high syn day as dh decided to cook so that my dinner was ready when I got in from work :candledinner: which was lovely, but meant it wasn't SW friendly! Anyway I got up a bit late this morning and was rushing around and didn't have time to think about what to have for pack up so dh just made me a quick sandwich and I grabbed some crisps and a cup a soup and ran out the door! So today won't be a great day SW wise either! To be honest I have struggled a little bit this week because I hadn't done a 'SW friendly' shop, I am doing one this weekend so from Sunday onwards I should find it easier, am going to plan a couple of days in advance too so that I know exactly what I'm taking for work/cooking for dinner etc. Anyway, end of essay lol. Here is today's 'rushed' food! Will be takeaway tonight too, because we are in a mess at home - a wall is being knocked down today so dust everywhere, not cooking tonight (excuses excuses).

    2 x HEB: Oatsosimple, 2 x nimble wm
    1 x HEA: 250ml ss milk
    Syns: 11 + vegetable chow mein ?

    Breakfast (neutral):
    Oatsosimple Apple & Blueb (HEB+2syns) with 150ml ss milk (HEA)

    Lunch (Red):
    2 x wholemeal nimble (HEB) with turkey, Flora x light (1 syn)
    Bag of French Fries (4) Slim a soup chicken (3)

    Dinner (Green):
    Will prob have a vegetable or mushroom chow mein from chinese yum! Not sure of syns though but I will be a few over for today.

    Thursday 19th October - was meant to be Green Day but we are doing our house up and there was that much dust we went to MIL's for dinner, so not SW friendly so changing to EE plus loads of sysn! Am gonna struggle for the next week or so now as we will be eating at other people's houses mainly!!

    Monday 23rd November - lost 2lbs last week! Really happy with that. I am just aiming for a maintain this week as I will be eating out a few nights this week at other people's houses so can't really request them to cook SW friendly meals! I'm going to try and have no/few syns during the day and stick to EE so hopefully shouldn't gain anything! Fingers crossed.....

    Wednesday 25th November - NOT happy today! Had a peek on scales this morning and I am 4lbs heavier than Saturday! I know I've had a few extra syns what with eating at MIL's but I don't feel like I've put 4lbs on! Anyway we are eating there again tonight!

    Thursday 26th November - ok well I've more or less given up this week after eating at MIL's and we are there again tonight (having work done in our house) I honestly keep saying no to dessert but then she comes back from the kitchen with a bowl for me! She is so lovely I don't want to be rude and not eat it, and let's face it if it's handed to you on a plate....yum yum yum :D :break_diet:So I think I'll be lucky to sts this week. I am still trying to be good during the day though but the trouble is the more 'naughty but nice' food you eat the more you want!! I will still keep my diary as it's good to be in the habit and will be starting back on track as soon as we start eating at home again! Anyway end of essay, here is today's food it's sort of going to be a red day!

    2 x HEA - 250ml ss milk, 28g mild cheddar
    2 x HEB - Oatsosimple, 2 x wm bread
    Syns - French Fries 4, see Dinner for others!

    Breakfast:

    Small treacle sponge and custard - MIL has stopped asking me now and just produces a dessert! I mean it's gorgeous and she is so lovely, but omg I would be double the size I am if I lived there so would hubby! Another terrible night diet-wise!

    Friday 27th November - eating at home tonight so should be healthier than what I have been eating all week! Am going for an EE day today, but tbh I've TOTALLY blown it this week so am starting again properly on Sunday, no doubt I will have put on a few lbs this week my body just isn't used to eating anything fried, or puddings!!

    1 x HEB - 2 x wm bread

    I know this isn't much but I feel so guilty for all the nice but naughty food I have eaten this week! I will prob have a snack when I get home....might attempt a SW quiche for the first time as I have a tub of cottage cheese to eat before Monday!

    Dinner:

    Chicken
    Rice
    SW chips
    Chopped tomatoes, mushy peas, mushrooms, onion, korma blend powder - got this recipe for curry sauce from this site, was very dubious about the mushy peas as it looked disgusting when I first started cooking it! But honesly it turned out really really nice, my husband cannot believe it had mushy peas in it and neither could I!! Will definitely be making it again, maybe try a different flavoured curry powder next time too.

    Snacks:
    Slice of SW quiche - must have been feeling creative when I got in from work as this was a first attempt too - used SMASH for the base and sides and mixed egg and cottage cheese and some Quorn bacon bits and chives, topped with HEA of cheese - fantastic! And my husband likes it too so there is another SW meal we can eat together! All in all a good day for new discoveries! Looking forward to getting back on diet on Sunday now.

    Small amount of gravy just on veg (2?)
    28g cheese grated on top( forget i'd had HEA, so 6 syns)
