Top Tip for avoiding BAD foods.....

#1
...... this came from the lovely Hellie who was giving me advice on how to avoid the Danish pastries and croissants served for hotel breakfasts.

back away from the nasty pastries! They taste of poo anyway

This really made me smile, but actually I think it may work. So on Sunday morning and at any other time when I am tempted I am going to tell myself that said tempting item tastes like poo.

Try it, it may work for you too!!!

Cue lots of people walking round Tesco or waiting for a coffee in Starbucks muttering "theytastelikepoo, theytastelikepoo, theytastelikepoo"

my own way of not being tempted (although i should listen to it more often) is to imagine that someone who prepared such cakes or muffins or donut lovelies....well, they didnt wash their hands after a visit to the loo.

So this develops the idea into a chant 'they might have poo on' or similar!

:D xxxx

Given the way that Tesco has been treating its customers recently, banning people in slippers, etc., they would probably throw you out for that!!

(For heaven's sake, who do they think they are? It's Tesco, not Fortnum and Mason!!)

"theytastelikepoo, theytastelikepoo, theytastelikepoo"

That made me laugh so much.....It sounds quite Zen, I think that might be my new mantra!! :D

OMG this is simular to what I do - if I am tempted by something I shouldnt have I think of me picking up my dog poo from the garden, scraping it up and imagine it as I look or think about the food, it soon puts me off especially if my dogs have had the squirts ;-) lol

did anyone see the Paul McKenna thing about getting thin? In that you had to imagine your favourite binge food covered in poo and worms and hair! Unfortunately I can't force myself to do that to Jaffa Cakes!

Why would anyone in their right mind wear slippers to the supermarket anyway?
No idea - unless they were forgetful!! (I did go to an important meeting recently wearing grey shoes - two different grey shoes! I didn't notice until I got home. No idea if anyone else noticed!!!! :D)

But if I saw someone in Tesco wearing their slippers it wouldn't bother me - but apparently their "powers that be" think otherwise!
