I'm on totm and i'm not happy not only will my weight loss be less this week (i can feel that i'm not losing) but i'm in agony today. Any tips on how to get through this without painkillers or alcohol (my usual method of pain relief!)?
Heat packs are a good way. You can buy the sticky ones from boots and they're surprisingly good or you can buy these wee bean bag type things that you heat in the microwave for a couple of minutes. Or even a good old fashioned hot water bottle.
Beat water into you to combat water retention, hot or cold should do it. Maybe make your shakes hot if that would help. AND SLEEP! If it helps to be unconscious to escape the cravings get thee to bed!
