can you eat these on phase 1? ive never cooked turnip before so how would you do them oven or shallow fry and are they any good sorry for all the q's xxx

No sorry, turnips aren't on the list of OK veg for induction.

You can have salami chips though, or tortilla chips made from cheese :D

Someone probably has it muddled with celeriac chips.

Take a celeriac, cut all the weird peel off, chop into chip shapes. Put in bowl of water and microwave for 2 mins - or boil in a pan - to soften. Dry chips, roll them in oil or butter, sprinkle with seasoning if you like - I like garlic powder and Parmesan - and bake on oven for 30-40 minutes.

They don't go crispy like chips, or taste exactly like them but they're still nice. Great roasted as a replacement for roasties and parsnips on a Sunday, too.

They are indeed - you just need to count them into your daily carb allowance. 200g celeriac is approx 5g carbs.

Here are some I had with pan fried haddock

Mmmm will give those a try ive just had ma dinner scrambled egg with peppers, bacon and cheese with a side of lettuce and a dollop of mayo yummy lol

Sounds yummy - though make sure you're counting the carbs of the peppers - green are the lowest carb I think.
