Turnip

Quick query from a non cook. When the list says turnip flesh only - am I right assuming that I simply peel, cut and boil or is there something else I should be doing?

Yep that's fine you just can't have the tough outer skin. You can boil, steam, oven roast, mash, chip it - anything you want really! X

I have to admit, this rule makes me laugh... are there many people out there who'd LIKE to eat the tough outer skin of the turnip?? But then again, maybe I'm missing out!!

It was really nice I feel very full. The curry is a really nice flavour and I picked the turnip chips up and dipped them in it was lush

I thought about putting fry light on them to crisp them up but not sure if it was ok or not. I over cooked mine so they went crispy .
