You hit the right spot for me every time....

......musically, you are my ideal man! (Spent the past ten years with somebody who thinks all my 'tunes and tv' are sh!ite....but he has no rhythm, on the dancefloor.....or off, if you know what I mean!;):D)

*goes off to dance to STOMP!*

awww bless you :D xxx that's a lovely thing to say - thanks - made me proper smile :D

Yeah - I pretty much live for music which is great except I've got 100's of nekkid tunes out of sleeves scattered about my lounge :eek::eek::eek::eek: (joys of being a single & living alone).

Deffo agree that people who get their groove on with abandon & aren't afraid to shake their booty are normally better lovers... :D

Which is why I'm normally found on podiums / stages being a total attention-seeking 'look at me' whore ;):D

I love a good dance me :D

Hey Howdy,

Podium dancing?!! LMAO! Are you any good with a pole?!;)

Hey, there's nothing wrong with a bit of 'freestylin' and as for music...yep, I'm with you on that one, it can create so many emotions...my taste is very diverse and I am not a music snob, I love Marvin Gaye, Tammy Terrell to Take That and Sade with a bit of indie, rock, disco, northern soul in the mix...I'll even get down to S-Club if need be!:p (being drunk helps for that last one tho!)

Oh and I remember my mum waking me up by blasting out Sly and the family stone on a Sunday morning! it wasn't always that cool though - some weeks it was neil diamond, and not The Jazz Singer either, it was Cracklin' Rosie on repeat...

Gonna bore you now... :D

I'm having this mix

YouTube - You Got The Love (Now Voyager Mix)

The beats / piano & strings make it one of the most plaintive & emotional tunes ever :)

BUT this dance floor classic started out as the bass line from this

YouTube - ELECTRA - FEELS GOOD

Which was inspiration for Jamie Principle who created this

YouTube - JAMIE PRINCIPLE YOUR LOVE CHICAGO HOUSE

Which was picked up & remixed by Frankie Knuckles for this

YouTube - Frankie Knuckles - Your Love ( 1987 )

which became a MASSIVE rave anthem in 1989...

& then a DJ called Eren layered an accapella from Candi Staton over the top to create this

Source, The - Love / Rock
(sorry no youtube of this mix)

Which then got nicked by The Source & released officially in 1990 with Candi getting credits & royalties

YouTube - The Source Ft Candi Staton - You Got The Love [v1]

Bet you're all glad to know that ;) :D
