Sadly it doesn't apply to me, and I'm sure many of you also get the MSE email, but for any that don't:
If you wash or repair your work uniform, you may be able to reclaim tax.
If you wear ANY uniform, try it. Whether it's a full nurse's or police attire, or just a simple T-shirt, provided you DON'T ever wear it for owt else, if you wash and maintain the clothes, you may be due an extra tax-free allowance each year — and can back-date the claim for up to six years (basic allowance gives £12 back/year - so £72 over 6).
