A group of six Farmington Junior High School students from Farmington, Utah, could be facing criminal charges for trading nude pictures of themselves over their cell phones.
According to Police Lt. Shane Whitaker there were at least six students between the ages of 13 and 14 who took nude photographs of themselves before sending them off to friends.
The mother of one of the teens found the pictures on their child’s phone and called police. When questioned the teens involved in the pictures said they had done it as a joke.

At first it was thought they would face felony charges (serious crime which can be punished by one or more years in prison), but now it looks like they are criminal charges for dealing in harmful materials to a minor.
