Consolidation Vegetarian/vegan on Dukan Diet

Elisheba

No matter what, carry on!
Are there any vegetarians/vegans on Dukan diet?

Please, I need your help!

Could you share your daily menus, vegetarian protein sources etc

:sigh:

I eat a lot of Quorn! For PV days I use Quorn mince in a chilli; I add peppers, mushrooms, chopped tomatoes and chiilis. Quorn fillets are quite tasty as are the fake chicken chunks. I snack on roast Quorn pieces, yoghurts and jelly! I am eating a bit of fish now, but not enjoying it, but sometimes a bit of variety is needed.
Breakfast is usually a 3 egg omelette, lunch is Tesco 'no meat' burgers, oatbran muffins for snack and Quorn or some fish for tea. Add in a yogurt or two and a jelly and that's it. I'll add salad on a PV day, roasted veggies with Quorn or stir fry as well.

STPT, I cannot find Quorn here.
I'm eating a lot of tofu, textured soy protein, nuts..
I bought quinoa.
Do you think it is safe to use on consolidation?

Pauline, wow, I did not know you were a vegan! Why did you give up?

I just need to find more info about cruelty-free proteins.

I would have quinoa as your starchy food once a week (or twice a week later on). I'd be careful with th number of nuts too as they are highly calorific.

I have starchy food twice a week. I had till now polenta and whole-wheat pasta.
Do you know what will be the recommended quantity for quinoa?

I would guess the normal amount of 225g - I think it's only potatoes and rice which are limited to 175g.

Too difficult, Elish. The diet is the easy bit, the lifestyle is much harder ... vegan shoes, no photographs (pre digital), no glossy magazines, etc etc!

I'm struggling.
I ended up having a TON of chocolate and biscuits this week.
I could blame the stress at work... or myself....
But the truth is I need some stability and strength.
I'm so confused.
