Started this diet as well the Dukan turned in to the no can do diet for me....(rubbish try at a pun I know) I missed fruit and veggies. SO I stopped it and put weight back on again what else did I expect to happen.

So then I found Paleo.

Got a 6 week plan and decided to give it ago. Its great. I feel great I get to eat fruit!!!!!

MONDAY

13st 11

My first day on the diet today so thought I would put up what I had

B - Black Farmers Guletin Free sausages (so nice!) greens and half a white onion. (this was shared between me and my OH)

L - Taco Salad - Minced beef, with spices and the other half of the onion. The lettuce, avacardo, half a tomato on top!

D - Sautéed chicken breast with sweet potato mash

S - Jerky and an apple

Also working my way though 2 lts of water.

TUESDAY

Loving things so far!

B - Breakfast smoothie (was really worried about this as I don't like eggs, and it had 1 raw egg in it, mixed in with the frozen berries, 2/3 a cup of almond milk and half a cup of coconut) It was like ice cream hehe
L - Left over chicken with sweet potato mash, with some green beans and greens.
D - gingery broccoli and beef
S - Ham and some cherry tomatoes

Got my self some fruit teas today, and another 2 lts of water.
 
WEDNESDAY

Nice surprise this morning, another 2lb down....

B - I was supposed to have a western omelette but I hate eggs, so I had the rest of the black farmers sausages with greens (yummy)
L - Left over beef and broccoli
D - "breaded" pork shops with roasted asparagus. The bread is almonds :D

S - paleo trial mix today and a necaturne
 
THURSDAY

Well another nice surprise this morning, another 1lb down.

B - Almost oatmeal - man that is filling! (unsweetened apple sauce (which I made my self) 4 Tbs almond butter, 3 Tbs coconut milk and a dash of cinnamon all heated up, then i sprinkled some dried berries on top)
L - Left over spicy "breaded" pork chop with asparagus
D - chicken cutlets with
olives and tomatoes, with
spicy spaghetti squash
with almonds (now I don't have a spaghetti squash will butternut be OK?)

S - Apple and trail mix again nom nom nom :D

Got 2 hours of training tonight so need energy!
 
FRIDAY

13st 4 this morning. Another 2lb gone.

B - Was supposed to have egg and avacardo but I hate eggs, so had some avacardo, with strawberries little bit of ham and almonds.
L - Left overs from last night with a small salad
D - Turkey burgers with roasted green beans

S - 2 items of fruit I have an apple and some strawberries

Might have another 2 hours of training tonight, I pulled a muscle in my groin so got to be careful.
 
Forgot to update over the weekend....

MONDAY 6th August - 13st 3 (been like this since Saturday)

B - Due to eggs being on the menu again I had a left over Tuna fish cake with some melon with a bit of cinnamon on top
L - Chicken Fajita salad
D - grilled chicken with rosemary and bacon, with steamed broccoli

S - An apple and if needed a nectarine.
 
TUESDAY - 7th August - 13st 2lb

B - Home made apple sauce with almonds and a little ham
L - Left overs from yesterday, chicken and bacon with brocolli
D - easy pork loin chops with sweet potatoes, with coconut, pomegranate and lime

S - Paleo Candy bar (home made from my diet plan)
 
WEDNESDAY - No change in weight

B - Apple sauce left over from yesterday and some cherizo
L - Left over port loin and sweet pot mash
D - Courgette and turkey mince.
 
THURSDAY - Down anther 1lb - 13st 1lb

B - Was supposed to be veggies and eggies but I hate eggs so I changed it a little I had - 2 bits of bacon, with a handful of kale and some chrizo
L - Left over beef with courgette
D - grilled chicken kebabs with garlic and cumin, with mojo verde with watermelon with fresh herbs

S - ran out of jerky, thinking about making my own so I have fruit today.

SATURDAY - 13st 0lb - So close!

B - courgette fritters
L - Paleo Mix and some stawberries
D - Steak

Was a bit of a mixed day today as I was working at an event ran by my derby team.
 
SUNDAY - 13st 1lb - Humm put 1 lb on....

B - Paleo pumpkin muffins - these are amazing
L - Left overs (sausages and some bacon)
D - Chicken with with roasted beets and balsamic glaze
 
MONDAY - 13st 2lb - Argh no going the wrong way...

B - Left over Paleo muffins
L - Chefs salad - this was just so nice!
D - Coconut chicken with courgette and squash - Very tasty

S - Ants on a log
 
TUESDAY - 13st 2lb - Least I have not put any more on!

B - Left over muffins
L - Left over coconut chicken
D - Turkey vegetable meatballs with raw cabbage and pineapple salad.
 
WEDNESDAY - Yay lost the 2lb I gained 13st 0

B - Breakfast smoothie
L - Left over meat balls with green salad
D - teriyaki chicken

S - Carrots and a muffin (they needed using up!)

RECIPE

Teri yaki Chic ken
Makes dinner for two, with leftovers for lunch.
Approximate cooking time: 35 minutes

Ingredients
1 Tbs coconut oil
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 medium yellow onion, diced

Instructions
1) Prepare all vegetables.
2) Cut chicken breasts into 1˝ pieces, and season lightly with sea salt and
freshly ground black pepper.
3) Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add coconut oil when hot.
4) Add onions and chicken to the pan and cook about 5 minutes.
5) Add a small splash of coconut aminos (about 2 Tbs), and continue to cook
another 5 minutes.
6) Add pineapple and peppers and cook until chicken is cooked through and
vegetables are tender.
7) Serve over chopped romaine.

3 romaine hearts

B - sweet potato hash
L - Left over chicken
D - Caveman steaks with squash

S - 1 banana with almond butter and coconut milk and an apple if needed
 
FRIDAY - So I did it! I reached a target today 12st 13lb!

B - No oat oatmeal (i was a little unsure about this but its so nice!)
L - Left over steak and squash
D - Port loin with pepper and onion

S - Half an orange and an apple with some pecans and cinnamon.
