Water - How much do you drink in a day?

    Hi All!

    I set myself a challenge this week, I know I only have the odd glass of water during the day as i'm quite a big tea and coffee drinker and with the 350ml's of milk that makes enough drinks to keep me going all day.

    Since wed's however i've been having pints of water (or water with no added sugar squash) and trying to increase it day by day.

    On wed's I had 3 pints and by fri I was having 5 but i'm stuck at that now, I just can't seem to get anymore in.

    How much should I be aiming for?? How much do you drink and do you think it helps at all or just makes you feel better for drinking it really?? ;)

    I have about 7 glasses of no added sugar orange squash a day, I think you should aim for 8. I mainly drink a lot as it makes you feel full so I snack less!

    Hey Sarah,

    Is that 7 pints or 7 glasses so about a pint??

    You should aim for 2 litres a day. 5 pints of nearly 3 litres, so if you can't drink anymore, don't.

    I have a litre bottle with me most of the time, and try to fill it up 2-3 times throughout the day.

    So 2-3 litres a day

    It's probably more like 6 pints as my work cup is slightly smaller!

    Well i've had 6 today and I think thats probably due to the cold I have.

    I think more likely i'll be around 5 pints per day.
