Water retention

Hey peeps, just a quick question...or two...how does someone know if they have water retention, I am peeing loads but still seem to be bloated and my weight loss is pretty slow so am wondering if I have water retention??
Also I have some herbal tablets for water retention from boots the ingredients listed say they have uva ursi,clivers and burdock and I think burdock is a flower so could I take these to see if they shift the excess water (if thats what it is?)or would it kick me out of ketosis??
