Good morning everybody. Just being doing some reading on ketogenic diets, ie Atkins and found this article about water intake for people who are doing the diet. Thought it may be useful to indicate how much water we should be drinking :D Water is essential to weight loss for those who eat low-carb. The minimum consumed in a day should be

I drink about 10 -11 pints of liquid a day so I'm in the right range.
 
how many pints in a litre Jim? I first read that you drank 10-11 litres!!! omg! lol x
 
I think it's approx 2 pints to 1 litre Vicky.

Thanks, I always wonder if I'm drinking enough or too much etc, but I was drinking exactly the right amount:D

He'd be like that woman (in america i think) that drunk so much in a small amount of time that she died of drowning her own body. I think she drank 4 litres wothin 2hrs or something like that. It was in all the papers a while ago
 
omg! do you include tea and coffee in your amount? and wine ? LOL :D
 
I drink 4-5 litres of water a day... but I've always drunk loads. x
 
I count all non alcoholic liquids, wine doesn't count LOL
 
Darn, if you'd counted wine I could probably have matched you Jim - hic! :D

Hi nice little post, 3.5 litres it says I should be aiming for, been having around 2 litres a day ;o so I must up it!

and I get mine from the water cooler at work Stephen. :)
