Extra Easy wats for lunch/dinner today?

    just wondering what u are all making for lunch/dinner today i like to hear everyones ideas lol, for lunch i am having pasta with tin chopped tomatoes, fresh chillies, garlic n chilli powder, onion, peppers mushrooms & bacon with a side salad and for dinner i am having my best friend round and we are having large open cup mushrooms stuffed with chicken savoury rice, sw chips seasoned with garlic n chilli & a big side salad yummmyyy!! Am i right in thinkin that batchelors avoury rice is still free?x

    For lunch I had orzo pasta salad with beetroot, onion, pepper, tomato and fresh herbs with 1tbsp tesco light choices ceasar dressing
    For dinner I am having the Aussie lamb burgers (from the magazine) with new poatoes and griddled courgettes.

    Yes, batchelors rice is free.

    Ooo, Christie I love the sounds of your menu! Mine's very boring today...ryvitas with onion and primula light topped with cucumber slices for lunch, then pasta with EL philadelphia stirred in topped with ratatouille for supper. Boring as! xx

    If you can get hold of the primula light you can have half the tube as a HexA :D xx

    Im having tuna and egg salad for lunch, and chicken wrapped in bacon with laughing cow in it with new pots, carrots and green beans for dinner:)

    Mmmm nice menu ideas, for some reason I find lunch the hardest meal and am always stuck for ideas.

    Ainsley Harriot spicy sensation couscous, with chopped red onion, pepper and cucumber mixed in and left over chicken cooked with cajun spices. yummy

    I think it might be 1 or 2 syns, but i might be wrong. I know one of them is free but can never remember which one

    1/2syn per 100g when cooked, i think it works out about 1 1.2 for the whole packet

    I had tinned salmon with vlf salad cream mixed with chopped cucumber on bed of lettuce

    Dinner - Lamb steak (cooked in Slow Cooker) served with chopped cooked white cabbage with chopped lean bacon mixed through and heated in non stick pan plus baked potato and baked beans

    Lentil and vegetable soup, 2 slices Hovis and an apple for lunch
    Dinner is homemade chilli with cous cous, portion of veg to make up 1/3 of plate. Probably mushrooms..

    I browned onions and lamb in pot in frylite added water chopped carrots and chunks of potatoes - cooked for a while on cooker then transferred into slow cooker. Now never use as much water as they recommend. When soft lifted out lamb steaks and cut remaining steaks up - transferred to another pot and used the stock to make a gravy with a little bisto and hey presto stew plus lamb steaks to go with already cooked cabbage/bacon.
