Ok so here goes....

I've just recently turned 30 im a single mum of a 3 year old and also a trustee for two seperate charities.....
For the first time in a year i stood on the scales and nearly died..... I'm the second heaviest i have ever been and now something needs to be done!
i previously did slimming world and found it really good so have decided to go back to that way of eating. I am not attending classes as a) cant actually afford it and b) child/dog care issues

i have done a shop, sorted out a daily food diary, increased my water intake, increased my step amount and written a food planner for the next 2 weeks

starting weight 19st3lb
Goal weight 12st7lb

i will update on wednesday morning with my first weigh in and will post my daily meals :)

I will do it this time being honest only restarted Wednesday and I already feel like I have more energy


Meals for today
Breakfast: overnight oats (40g oats vanilla muller light am I correct in saying this is now 1syn?)

Lunch: left over homemade spaghetti bolognaise (free) 15g cheese grated (1/2 A1) speed salad mullerlight toffee (1.5? Syns)

Tea: steak (no fat) baked potato 15g grated cheese (1/2 A1) beans, mangetout, baby corn 2tbsp reduced sugar tomato sauce (1 syn)

Drinks: 2l flavoured water 3 black coffee (2 sweetener tabs per coffee) milky coffee (200ml ss milk A2)

Snacks: apple, banana, 25g fat free gummy bears (going by kcal 4.5syn but will make it 5 to be safe)

Total Syns for today 7.5

Hopefully I’ve worked it all out right 😂

Today’s meals

Breakfast: overnight oats (B) made with caramel chocolate muller light (1) and 1tbsp peanut butter (5)

Lunch: baked potato with tuna& sweetcorn 2 tbsp light mayo (2) 1 tbsp reduced sugar tomato sauce (0.5) mango & passionfruit muller light (1)

Tea: cheese & bacon pasta (Lidl jar) (5) 40g cathedral city light (A1)
Strawberries banana pear vanilla muller light (1)

Drinks: 5 black coffee 1milky coffee (A2) 1.5L water

Snacks: 3 boiled eggs

Total syns for today 15.5

Went over syns by 0.5 so kicking myself for that actually hadn’t realised the syn value of the peanut butter (made last night) until after the fact. I just thought adding the peanut bitter to the caramel chocolate yoghurt would be a bit like snickers. I will be chucking the peanut butter out and may invest in the PB2 or peanut hottie I’ve seen advertised instead

Ok so this thread is solely for my weight updates so this week I lost 7lb 😊😊😊
