Week 1 - Weigh In

Had my first weigh in today and lost 9.5 lbs in week one which is amazing.

However, today instead of feeling motivated, I have really struggled to stomach the shakes and have felt really tired and hungry all day.

Can't see past the end of tomorrow let alone the end of the week.

Whats wrong with me?? :confused:

Nothing sweetheart, that's how we all feel on this seesaw of a diet......

I suppose so. Tomorrow is another day. :sigh:

Got no-one else to blame but myself for my situation, so I should just quit feeling sorry for myself.

Need to focus on my five star all inclusive holiday in the Dominican Republic next August. If that doesn't keep me focused - nothing will.

Planning on taking a photo in my underwear (strictly for my eyes only). Any time I am struggling I can pull it out and look at it. That is enough to put anyone off their grub!! :D

I did that on my phone with the same idea as you.....it was ok until the OH got hold of my phone and started looking for something on my photos! I didn't quite know what to say.......have deleted it now, couldn't bear the shame of someone else seeing me in my not so 'smalls' !

My OH getting my phone would be the least of my worries - I have three children who would find it amusing and I would never live it down.

Really hoping for an excellent week 2 - may even make my first stone if I am very lucky and make my water my best friend.

OMG, you'd be on their Facebook pages before you could say "cheese"!

Good luck, and seriously, try and stay positive. This diet is bloody hard and no-one can pretend otherwise but it does get easier if you can slog it out x

Well done on your loss PJC x x x

It helps some people to set up some mini goals to aim for, it makes it more achievable somehow... Also, when it gets tough (and it does for all of us) break your diet down more, like "I will get through today and see how i feel", or "I will just get the next shake done"... It all helps-but the best help of all is right here on this forum.. The people are truly amazing!!

You might need to have posted 50 times i think, but just in case that's wrong... Click on "User CP" up there on the left in the blue bar bit ^^^^^, then on the left again you will see a yellow box titled "Your Control Panel", lower down, under Settings and Options, is "Edit your signature".. Click that and scroll down, change what you need/want to, preview it and then save it.. Voila!! lol
