Week 10 w/i, first week on 810!

I did Cambridge last year and lost 4 stones exactly in 11 weeks. I had to come off the diet suddenly as, after 12 months ttc, I was finally pg again! I did really wellwith weight gain until my 3rd trimester - at which point I put on a stone a month.. After I gave birth I was the same weight again as when I'd started..

I lost a bit in the first 3 months but wanted to go slowly because of breastfeeding. Sadly it didn't work out despite expressing day and night every 3 hours and working hard with bf counsellors - turns out dd2 had a Tongue tie even though 6 people told me she hadn't. I paid to have it treated privately at 11.5 weeks old but bf unravelled within a few weeks after as I had to top her up with a bottle for a few days instead of a cup and she started rejecting the boob soon after. So i'm now bottle feeding, I never imagined I would be at 3.5 months so it's a huge learning curve -especially when you consider I only stopped bf dd1 5 months ago at 21 months old! (nursed her through Cambridge). So anyways, in trying to make something positive of it then I decided to start cambridge again in the hope I'd have lost all my weight by Christmas!

I had lost 12lb up until starting cd but had a week of eating out so I was 15st 2lb when I started (15st 10lb after giving birth).

Week 1 I lost 14lb! Really thrilled! I'm doing SS+ to try and minimise the awareness my toddler has of me not eating.

4.5lb this week!! Really pleased - I even went to stay with family for a few days and stuck to it 100%

hello sunflowers I am in a similar position, lost 4 stone, got pregnant, kept weight down til last trimester where put on weight at a frightening rate without eating anything different. I am still feeding my little one but she is now nearly 8 months and is having 3 meals a day. I want to do cd again. I read that you nursed doing cd, I assume that went well for you? I want to, but I thought it might effect the taste of my milk, stop it all together and didn't know about missy drinking possible ketones in my milk. Realising that women nurse even in famine times, I am assuming that it wouldn't do her any harm

I really want to do cd now. I desperately want to lose the weight before I return to work and before baby is 1

3lbs this week, bringing me to 21.5lbs in 3 weeks! I measured myself a couple of night ago, I've already lost 4 inches off my chest, 5 inches off my waist and 3 inches off my hips!

Glitzy - good luck, that first weigh in is such a boost when you see how much you've lost!

Another 4lbs this week!! I measured myself this week, the differences are huge! The measurements are on my phone so I'll post them up later but I was really pleased!

3lb this week and my bmi is now under 30 making me overweight rather than obese! People have finally started noticing too which is great!

Well done for this week's loss sunflowers and congrats on moving down the BMI. This diet can be tough at times but I agree with you, when you weigh in and see the results it is so motivating. :D
