I've lost 1lb this week, which means I'm exactly at goal. Still planning to lose another stone though. I don't know what's going on with my losses at the moment, I'm not really impressed with how much I've averaged over the last five weeks really & am getting frustrated as I was thinking I'd have shifted that extra stone by the beginning of November which looks incredibly unlikely now! A couple of people have suggested I go out & have a super carby meal to kick-start my metabolism then go back onto LT, which if I was sure I'd be able to get straight back onto the shakes I might do, but...also, in all likelihood it would just be the glycogen stores I gained from eating that I lost, right? Hmm. Anyone have any suggestions? (Also, I'm aware I've had relatively big losses for the last two weeks so should probably stop moaning, heh).

& a little OT - I got a job yesterday! Wooh! It's in a gastro pub & luckily most of the food is meat (I'm veggie) but it still all looks absolutely lovely! The manager asked me if I wanted a large or medium sized shirt for my uniform, I went for large & I'm so pleased I did, it's absolutely tiny & I was so panicked when she brought it out that it wasn't going to fit! It made me realise that I either wouldn't have got the job when I was fat (I met a good ten people that work there & none of them are even "big") or would have had to wear a men's t-shirt which would have been humiliating. It's the small things that make the weight loss so rewarding - like avoiding painfully embarrassing situations. Heh. That said, because they've only just met me, when I told them I wouldn't be able to eat anything at the menu tasting session on Monday they looked so confused by why I'd be "starving" myself. Dammit, free, very yummy looking food & all I'll be able to do is sniff longingly!

Hope everyone's doing well! I'm off to dance classes now! Heh.

Oh hun so well done on the weight loss and the new job! You seem to have had a bad weigh in twice in the last 6 weeks so i tink your doin great at least ur still losing. you will prob lose more next week. They cudnt really not hire you coz of your weight but i know wat you mean it wudnt have boosted ur confidence if you had to wear a man's t-shirt.

Well done on getting to your goal and im sure you will lose that extra stone really fast if your other weigh in's are anything to go by anyway.

got no suggestions about the weight loss but i do think that losing 12lb in the last month is brilliant considering you were so close to goal.thats almost the stone a month LT say you'll lose.

fab news about the job too, well done.
all looking up now and best of luck with the last stone ya wanna lose.you'll shift that in no time x

Well done hun, you have come a long way but it has been rewarding for you. Are you going to do refeed? Maybe you might lose the rest doing that.

    Congrats hun!

Well done, 70lbs is a fantastic achievement, do you think perhaps you are now at your optimum weight and thats why your weight loss has slowed down?

    Thanks everyone!! :)

I was planning on carrying on for about another month to shift the last stone, instead of re-feeding now, but, if I have another rubbish weigh in next week I might try to lose it the re-feed & healthy eating route.

Probably not enough at the moment, to be fair! University has thrown me off a bit. Also, I am having a bout of insomnia, which is probably messing with my body a bit...

Thanks for clarifying that! I hadn't actually added it up; 2lbs short of the stone a month isn't that bad! It's just a bit horrible seeing so many little numbers, heh.

Haha, I seriously think they wouldn't have! She appears to only employ attractive, slim people under the age of 25! I suppose that's the image she's going for & if I fit that brief that's nice for me (bad woman though, obviously, heh!).

Erm...not really! I've still got a fair bit of flab on me which I wouldn't say is what I'd imagine to be someone's optimum weight. Then again, exercise would probably play a role in that...we'll see how I do next week & judge it from there!

Hmmm Miss Hannah. First all massive congratulations on reaching your goal. You're an amazing stunner who is inspiring, determined and focused.

How can you not be impressed with your losses!? You've lost 12lbs this month! Considering you had so little to lose that is fantastic, as losses are meant to slow down the less you have to lose.

I personally would not recommend a super carby meal to 'kick-start' your metabolism. Isn't there a chance you could put on a load of weight in doing that, only to lose it again the next week, then loss only a pound the week after? Not to mention how horrible you'll feel after eating all those carbs, yuck! If I was you I would stick to LT until you reach your new goal.

Wooohooo on the new job. Haha at the tiny large! That's just crazy. Large should mean large, and tiny should mean tiny. Sniffing is the new eating, did you not get that memo! Good luck with it but I expect you'll not need the luck, as you're brimming with new body confidence!

Hehe, I loves you!!! Thank you!

Oh, I know, it's just one of those things that when you're feeling a little low you want to justify - guilt free Pizza Hut? Yes please! But, I was only momentarily tempted, I pretty much think you'd probably just lose what you put on, wouldn't you? & now it's been highlighted it's 12lbs I'm much more smiley :)

I know! It's ridiculous! Clearly no vanity sizing there! At Blockbuster my polo shirt was an XL & big on me, clearly they like their chunky people more! Hehe.

Well done on reaching your goal. You have done so well. I think that if you want to continue on LT you should do so without coming off it. You have been losing weight at a great rate. it all add up both small and large losses.

Thank you! I remember coming on here when I started out & being so inspired by other people steadily approaching the right hand side of their tickers, so, it's great I can be one of those for others now!!

I'm really sorry to hear about your miscarriage.

Good luck with LT, sounds like you've got it all under control! Keep us updated, the first week is a toughie!!
