week 3 and putting weight on..help please??

    hi, I joined sw 3 weeks ago..the 1st week i ate loads and did 3 days red and 4 days green..i lost 2pound..do i was quite pleased..then the weeks after i didnt eat as much because i wasnt that hungry and did mainly green days and put 1 pound on...so i was a bit gutted..however i carried on and i admit i prefer green days so i did mostly this for a week and put a further 2 pound on!!!! i am so gutted by this..do you think it could be too many green days which dont agree with me becasue i know people are different..but i dont know what to reallt eat on red days..what will fill me up..i was thinking of giving up..but i havent..i am going to give it another 2 weeks because i dont want to have put more weight on...i currentll weigh 13st 5 pounds...and i need and want to lose 2 stone..please can anybody help with ideas?? many thanks everyone:mad::cry:

    When you do a lot of green days, it can sometime lead to water retention and bloating. Did your consultant say anything to you or give you any advice?

    If you like your green days, why not try a few extra easy days? That way you can combine free green foods and free red foods until you get the hang of what you can eat on red days.

    There are lots of recipies on here and lots of food diaries too. It might be worth having a read through some of those to give yourself some ideas of what to eat on what day.

    Good luck and hang in there, there must be a reason for it. Maybe it's your body adjusting. Maybe you need to check your portion sizes? I'm clutching at straws for you here.. but please don't give up just yet.

    Did you eat much carbs before you started SW, are you eating more now than you used to as that could be a reason. You also said that you lost more when you ate more,are you actually eating enough? do you have a food diary?

    if you are eating all of your HEs then in theory doing all green will work its just that your body has to adjust. Stick with it to see how it pans out.

    Maybe chuck in a few red days just to even it out to see if that makes a difference if you feel happier. xxx
