I had a great first three weeks on CD SS+ with very little hunger and no temptation or food thoughts it was pure bliss. Last night some old habit food thoughts came back and I chose to eat some ham......and then some cookies (not proud of myself).I think I let myself get too tired and was sat in front of the TV which is such a trigger to eat! The thing that struck me was how awful everything tasted. Either super salty or super sickly sweet I didn't even enjoy the food. So I am fessing up and avoiding the temptation of only posting when I am 100% on plan. I am thinking of everyone who has posted about when things aren't going as they want and they are struggling and I am thinking that these people get back on track and continue the CD journey, blips, wobbles and all. Thanks for everyone who shares the ups and the downs. Any advice welcome.

Well done for not going totally off the rails and having a huge blow out. You seem to have a sound attitude and aren't beating yourself up.
I'm on SS and I do pick from time to time, I guess those doing 100% will consider that this is a blip on my part, however I don't as I've never had anything that would take me out of ketosis and (most importantly) I am in control of what I pick. I choose not to pick the goodies at work, but a bit of chicken at home. I find this works for me - I think I could always have more if I CHOOSE to, but I choose NOT to right now, thanks.
You are nearly halfway towards your target (in 3 weeks!!) - great stuff (don't get complacent ;)) Build on that success

Thanks Jess and Boardwitless. It is good to know that even with a few blips and wobbles results can still happen if you just get back on with it. Feeling good today and keeping busy.....and feeling extra determined. Have a lovely weekend.

Well done on getting stuck back into SS ;)

I also had a week 4 blip - but got back on SS 100%........ eventually, it took 3 days! But have stuck 100% since then and losses are back on track. As it was difficult, and no loss that week I am determined that it wont happen again - afraid that I wont return.

Soooooo, just wanted to say to maybe think about why you had your blip and don't allow the devil on your shoulder to use the 'succees' of your restart to convince you to 'blip' again. :p

Thanks Roisin, I have kept really busy today and things have gone well. You are doing well getting back on track. I think I just need to watch out for being tired and complacent. I look forward to hearing how your week goes. Best wishes
