Week 8 Weigh In

    Lipotrim
    On refeed at the moment. This week stayed the same weight. Went to a lovely hotel at the weekend and ate a 3 Course Meal, made sure I didn't over indulge. Got straight back on a VERY low carb diet the day after. Need to stay quite strict in the week as I have a few girlie nights out for the next few Saturdays which equal eating after alcohol. Why can't they make alcohol that makes you lose your appetite, whats worse is I crave Carbs!

    Congrats on staying the same this week.

    Like you said before, carbs are a trigger for weight gain for you (as they are for me), that's why you're craving them probably. You've kept them to a minimum haven't you, which is what I will be trying to do as well.

    Keep up the good work, you're doing brilliantly on maintaining.

    You're looking good girlie. How long has it been since you reached goal, any tips that you have for sustaining weight and not gaining!

    Thank you MiniB. You only have 8lb to your goal wight, when did you say you were starting refeeding?.

    I found a cheap book of foods with "Low GI" (low glycemic index ),
    I think this is helping, so I think a conbination of low Carbs & GI works.......so far.

    Like the others said, you didnt gain and stayed the same, which is good.

    I bought a recipe book once (famous chef, small guy, beard, cant remember his name). He has some sort of diabetes and wrote a recipe book for Low GI. It was fab. I gave it to my friend as her husband has diabetes. Wish i could remember his name, as it might help you with the carbs.
    They are my demon too....I just have to steer away from them completely (well, I am at the minute anyway with not eating)!!!!!

    Anyway, again, well done on your refeed.

    Staying the same is OK I reckon. Its a big change I'm sure going from milkshakes to actual solid food and of course trying to stay on track and not revert to old habits :eatdrink023:....and carbs...eeeek!! They are my old enemy, my drug of choice, I'm going to have to keep well away after this....mmmm...c-a-k-e....noooo!!
    I am planning to go veggie after LT, staying away from pasta and potatoes ( except sweet potato), rice ( only brown). Well, that's the plan anyway.
