Weigh in and Veg drink

    I've lost 4lbs and a bit this week which I am very pleased about. :D:D I hope this is going to be the trend every week.:):)

    Something that has me worried is the Veg Drink. I got some yesterday and made a cup as soon as I got home. I only managed to drink half of it. Before I made it I read the ingredients, but only reading it again this morning did I notice it has glucose syrup and fructose in it.:confused::eek::confused:

    Am I worrying unneccessarily? Will drinking this affect ketosis? Should I be expecting to chomp at my desk later because of hunger pangs?

    Help!!!

    If the veg drink is from your CDC then you are allowed a teaspoon a day. It should not knock you out of ketosis.

    also well done for realising 4lb is a good loss! :)

    I have no experience of the veggie drink sorry. Am sure if you stick in the limits the CD advise it'll be ok. :)

    The official CD veg drink is fine to have. I imagine the amounts of glucose will be small.

    I must admit that glucose and fructose had me running scared. I haven't had a drink of the veg since. Perhaps I'll give it another go at some point in the future.
