Hello everybody! Hope things are going well for you.

My weight loss continues. Hip hip hooray! Today is the last day of my add a meal week and things have been quite good considering my fears. My favourite meal has been with haddock and the leek and potato sachet. I have had it with spinach or asparagus all blended into a delicious mush. Today is also my weigh in and I'll keep you posted.

Now, anybody else have itchy skin? I am itching so much it is getting a bit embarassing. One or two places have the look of eczema but nothing to be seen in the other itchy places. I shower every day, bathe once or twice a week, use gentle soaps and put moisturiser on my skin. Any ideas as to what this itchiness is and how to stop it?

Thanks for your thoughts and ideas.

    Hi Bee

I also have developed an eczema-like rash but never thought it would be to do with CD. I'm going to ask my CDC about it tonight, will let you know what she says.

I have to admit that I'm not very good at drinking my 2.25ltrs of water and sometimes get itchy skin due to dehydration (a problem I've always had).

    Thanks for that.

I did get round to asking my cdc about it. I don't know why I didn't mention it before, and she said some people have an allergy to the soya. This made sense to me. Years and years ago when I used to try different oils to rub in I did get a reaction to soya oil.:eek:

I've looked at the ingredients in the diet products I eat and they all have soya in them.:cry::cry:

Still, I'm not going to let that stop me. If it gets really really bad I'll try an anti-histamine as she suggested. e.g. Piriton.

Thanks guys:):):) I appreciate your support.:):):)
