Hey guys,

I'm a little confused, you can have either 80g Chickpeas (dried weight) or 225g Chickpeas (canned, drained). I already have normal chickpeas at home and they are already cooked (boiled then sautéed), how much should i have?

you have normal chickpeas? not sure what that means. but canned chickpeas are cooked so if what you have at home is cooked then you can have 225g. However, you say they are sauteed - so if you have used oil, then you should drop the grams a little from a calorie perspective.

Tiggs will correct me if I'm wrong.

I agree with zecond the weight is for the canned precooked chickpeas in water. If the ones you have have oil then you will need to drop the amount. 225g of chickpeas is a lot! I tried it once and I struggled with the volume!

If you had dried chickpeas and soaked and cooked them yourself the weight is after the soaking stage of cooking!
