It's probably best that for the first week or two that you're only thinking about food, looking up how many points it is for this and that because that way you'll get the hang of it in no time. I'm in my 4th week and I'm still messing up here and there on how many points are in things. Plan ahead and you'll be fine :) Start a food diary to keep track. Stick with it! see you round the boards:)
