I use digital Salter scales - got mine from Argos. They self calibrate every time they are used. Not keen on the old style 'dial' ones, notoriously inaccurate for me :D

My CDC has a very expensive one.. it prints out a receipt for you with lots of info about your body on it. I'm afraid I don't remember the brand but I'll try to remember and post here after I see her this weekend.

thanks hun! i am an avid reader of your blog! you fill me with so much hope. i have 7st to go and it seems far less daunting when i see people like you who have done that already x

i weigh myself on the scales here (i live with my OH and his parents) and they are so old but they make me smile because they always show me at much lower than i am. today i got on them and apparently i have lost 1st since i got on them last week lol!!! it was nice to watch them go under 17st but i would be flabberghasted if they were right!!! x

You will do it, just think, in 7 months tops, you will be where you want to be! If I can do it anyone can, I've been so fat for so long, nearly all my adult life, I bet you're reallllllllllly excited!!

I've still got a long way to go though, but at least I'm past half way there I have to keep telling myself!!!

Wow, you might have lost that much!!! You've done massive losses already so it could be the case!! :D

Mine are digital Salter scales & are also from Argos. They are beltin. I've never had any probs with them. I also can't stand the dial ones. Not accurate enough for me. I need it in big black digits. lol P;us they were only about 20quid
