What are you eating today?

    Hi
    I thought it may give us all some ideas for menu's if we listed what food we eat on a typical day.

    Today I am having:
    B'fast: Wholemeal toast with marmalade
    Lunch: Beef, potatoes, caulifliwer, green beans, carrots and gravy
    Tea:Wholemeal roll with salad, ham and extra light mayo
    Snacks will be fruit and muller light yoghurts :)

    Sounds yummy!!

    Today I'm going to have:
    Breakie: scrambled egg whites with chilis in it ontop of a plain bagel.
    Lunch: Probably beans on toast or beans on a baked potato
    Dinner: Quorn chicken fillet with a bit of brown rice and salad.
    Snacks: muller lights and loads of fruit.. :)

    Usual breakfast consists of either a bagel with extra light cream cheese
    or a bowl of bran flakes with skimmed milk but I thought I'd be different today. :D

    A lie in today made me miss breakfast, so straight on for lunch....

    homemade veg soup and sugar free jelly
    tea: chicken with stir fry veg with blue dragon oyster and spring onion sauce with more sugar free jelly.
    Apples and bananas in between.

    I found lots of sugar free jelly sachets in the cupboard yesterday and have re-discovered my love for it today!!

    Breakfast for me was, bran flake and milk!!
    Lunch = Homemade curried veg soup
    Tea will be pasta, ww tomato tuna and some tesco light choices soft cheese
    Snack fruit factory strawberry heart, yogurts!!

    Breckie.....40g fruit and fibre...2 buttermilk pancakes
    lunch........prawns in coriander and chilli, salad and an onion roll, muller-rice
    dinner ......made mexican chicken in chocolate sauce ...didn't like it and ended up with spaghetti on 1 slice of toast lol
    2 snack a jacks

    Thanks for your replies brilliant.

    Today I will be eating:
    B'fast: 2 slices ww wholemeal bread from a 400g loaf, home made marmalade
    Lunch: Home made vegetable soup, melon, mango and muller light
    Dinner:Home made cottage pie, peas and carrots

    Snacks: Banana, apple and pear
    I have drunk 2 litres of water and numerous cups of coffee using skimmed milk

    How has your day been? ;)

    Had a good day thanks Kazbryn.

    Todays food was

    Breakfast :- Bran flakes and milk
    Lunch :- Spaghetti, 1 slice turkey, 1 laughing cow extra light cheese triangle, 1 brown bread
    Tea :- Turkey mince, mushrooms, peppers, onions in old el paso fajita sauce in wraps
    Banana angel delight (tescos version) Mixed with 2 egg white, with crunchie in between layers
    (this is a treat for weigh in day and valentines lol)
    Snacks :- Caramel snack a jack

    I lost 3lbs this week ;)

    Today i have eaten:
    B'fast: Yoghurt and banana
    Lunch: Bread roll, turkey and rocket, apple and muller light yoghurt
    Dinner: Chicken, boiled potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, gravy

    Snack; thinking about having strawberries, mini meringues and yoghurt poured over the top.

    Aiming to drink at least 2 litres of water in addition to tea and coffee.

    that sounds lovely :) well done on the water intake. i cant seem to get through 2 ltrs a day no matter how hard i try

    cinnamon,honey drink
    Breakfast.....poached egg on 1 slice toast, fruit n fibre, tea
    Lunch......shredded chicken with 50g pasta with sweet chilli sauce
    Dinner .....chicken with stuffing crust wrapped in bacon, asparagus and crushed herby potatoes

    Snacks....mullerrice and nectarines

    as long as the bacon is very lean yes its ok.....and along as its within your calories....

    in the alli book it tells you foods you can have bacon been 1 of them.....I will also put a recipe up for chicken and parma ham parcels :):)

    Hi I lost 2lbs this week making 5lbs in two weeks.

    B'fast: Melon, strawberries and mango
    Lunch: Wholemeal roll with extra light Philadelphia, ham, rocket and tomato, yoghurt
    Dinner: Lasagne (homemade) using natural yoghurt for the creamy base and salad
    Snacks: Fruit and yoghurt
    Drinks: 2 litres water plus tea and coffee ;)

    How do you use natural yogurt i lasagne? i would love to know, as i love lasagne!!
