What Books would you suggest to help with dieting, food etc.

After reading many posts where people have read books to help them with understanding food, understanding their emotions etc I thought it would be a good idea to set up a thread for us all to reccomend some reading material.

I'm not sure if this has been done before and appologies if it has. I couldn't find any threads myself :(

Please feel free to post some Book titles, or articles, journals etc, with some comments about the material.

It would deffinatly help me out if not others, but I'm sure if anyone has taken the plunge to do a vlcd then they would be open to some soul searching :)

You should try the Beck Diet Book - its a book you can use alongside any diet that helps you re-train your brain and try to get to a healthy relationship with food. Helps deal with emotional eating and bad habits etc. I picked up a 2nd hand copy for a couple of quid of amazon, I have hear a few people on the exante site talk about it. Worth a try...good luck
