    I want to take bars/shakes to Australia with me & am a bit concerned as to the regulations of taking them into the country. Their customs people are red hot & will whisk peeps away at the drop of a hat. !! Has anybody out there done this. :break_diet:

    I do not know about Oz, but I took a months supply with me to America who are allos pretty hot on security, and had no problems at all.

    Good luck!

    I'm sure if they're in your suitcase it'll be OK - check with the Australian embassy web site, there'll be an advice for travellers section.

    Bill Bailey said he was most unhappy to be fumigated upon entry to New Zealand!

    When I was a kid my vicar Dad did a parish exchange to America and was in his uniform whilst travelling. He was strip-searched because they suspected he was wearing a disguise!

    What can I take to OZ;

    Thanks for all the advise.
    I've looked on the website given & emailed them just to check.
    Looks like if I take them in my hand luggage & fill in the custom declaration form given out on the plane then I should be OK. Watch this space! Food packs can be sent care of: Perth Prison, Oz!!!:wave_cry:

    IF they send you an email saying it is alright, be 100% certain to print that and bring it with you! ;)
