Just wondering what everyone does for a living ?
I was a hotel manager for many years (worked there 12 years and worked my way up), spend a few years at home with the children being a full time mum now I work for the government within legal aid.
I deal with funding for family law cases (care etc) and spend my days looking at costs and making legal decisions on cases which are going to/currently within the court system. It is very challenging and interesting, although much of what I read can be heartbreaking.
Before I got this job I had a uni place to study operating department practice (I come from a medical family) but then realised that it would be too hard financially - would get a bursary but no family credit so couldn't afford childcare.
Just interested in what others do?
