What do you miss?

This thread is not meant to be just about food or to encourage anyone who is trying not to eat to eat, it just about the things we miss.

So here goes.

I really miss the Friday night ritual of putting my works laptop away in the den and taking the cork out of a bottle of red whilst we decide what to have for tea………………………the weekend starts then!!

For me it's saturday nights & sunday roasts. I always had the weekends off & just ate healthy during the week before I had my babies.

On saturdays we'd have a take out. Usually Chinese as I love love love it....! Sundays I'd do a big roast, either chicken or Lamb dinner. Yum yum yum!!

I miss those stops for Latte and muffin whilst on a shopping trip and nipping around the neighbours for a bottle of wine or two on a cold boring night!!

I walked by a Chinese last week when they were getting the food prepared while on my way to the gym, the smell was amazing!

But I think it is the going out for nice meals and lunches that I really miss and of course that first glass of wine after a crazy day!

In the future tho I know I will be able to do the things I love while making good choices as I really feel that CD has changed my attitude to food, even without the CBT, lol

I miss my take aways on a sat night,i miss my sunday dinners.
I miss wispas,i love wispas and low and behold they bring them back out just i go back on cd,typical!!!!

I miss bread - strangly enough. Not pasta or even chocolate particularly, which surpised me as my weight prob has been thanks to my sweet tooth.

I thought I'd miss chocolate but I haven't at all, it's the proper dinners like Sunday roasts or spag bol that I'm craving...

sorry girls i'm going to be greedy and say i pretty much miss everything, take aways, wine, burgers, chocolate, ben and jerrys, friday nights, saturday nights, sunday lunches...need i go on!!!But hey they are what got me into this mess in the first place...lol xxx

ahh thanks babes, not done anything special just followed the rules...long way to go yet though...you have done really well yourself!

How much water do you have a day?
Do you have any exercise?
Do you do sole source?

im with the bloke, crisps are what im missin most although the tub of ben an jerrys in my freezer is calling me. (shut up you stupid ice cream, i dont need you!)
chuck that tub of ice cream in the bin or make your BF eat it quick before temptation takes over, lol!!!!!

Obviously chocolate, and also cheese sandwiches, but some healthy stuff too -- blueberries :eek:, bananas :eek: Who'd have thought that?

i bought the bad stuff before going on this diet and i have sucsessfully ignored them for 6 days now, no problem really, if anything was gonna get me it would be the six pack of chees and onion crisps in my kitchen. kinda like having them there as it makes me feel good to ignore them but that may be the ex anorexic me talking lol.

Ok well personally i do do ss have porridge then a tetra then a soup or shake and at least 3 litres of water a day i dont really excersise except to go on little uns wii fit
Anyway hun you cannot compare one persons experience to another on this diet...your starting weight was 100lb less than mine your first stone that you lost is 7.29% of your body weight mine was only 4.8% therefore you have done absolutely fantastic xxx stay positive and pat yourself on the back.
