    I want to treat myself to some new music for my ipod for the gym.

    Can anyone advise me on some great stuff to motivate me in the gym? Particularly to get me through those runs on the threadmill.:bliss:

    Looking forward to your suggestions as I have £15 to spend on downloads.

    Think you should listen to some and then decide what will spur you on. What gets some people going ! will not encourage you in the same way.

    I love dance music, I have a new disc that I have on while on ET its fast and upbeat and gives you a feel good essence, but then some people dont like dance music. The album I have is dance energy.

    Thanks Hels and Sonkie.

    The more rigourous the better.

    Looking forward to sampling all your ideas later. I must go clean the car.

    Me too!:rotflmao:

    I do like the sound of something heavy and fast. I like to really push myself and like the music to take my mind off the pain!:rolleyes:

    Do you have one particular favourite track that I could look up Punkass?

    I agree with Sonkie, the fast beat of any dance music sets a pace for you to keep up with. I have downloaded loads of dance music to put on my mp3 for when i am dancing on my trampette (still doing it every day!). I have used loads of tracks off this album;

    Or this one;

    I wouldn't normally listen to dance music, but it's great to exercise to!

    lol okay... well a softer one by Trivium is Dying in your Arms.. alternatively there is Pull Harder on the Strings of your Martyr.. they are pretty screamy though - although Dying in your Arms is fantastic..

    Or you could try The Blister Exists or Duality by Slipknot

    hehe have fun..

    Thanks Bex

    Some good ones there. I have some old Dance CD's that I know I loved before for exercising. Must dig them out.

    Looks like I'm going to have to spend some time at this.

    Must go now!

    Thanks Punkass will give those a try!

    OMG - are you kidding me - that sounds brilliant

    I like Rnb music but it is normally too slow to exercise to. BNut I have found a clubmix CD that has put an uptempo beat to RnB music. Love it

    I am currently organising my walking music and dancing music which is a bit faster - so will check out itunes tonight
