What shall I do with a whole chicken???

Would be grateful of any ideas of what to do with a whole chicken apart from a roast dinner? Have some ideas for left overs but not to first meal!

Take all the skin off and put in a slow cooker (if you have one?) with a bit of stock and herbs. Then use the meat for salads, sarnies, jacket spuds etc.
