Green Days What to eat on a green day?

Hi guys,

I think that I might prefer green days because you get two HEXA and HEXB.

So far today I have had:

Cup of tea - free
>250ml SS milk - HEXA
28g Weetabix minis - HEXB
Hi-fi bar - HEXB
Walkers crisps - 6 syns

But can people give me an idea of what they eat on a green day? I'm thinking jacket potatoes, pasta, but what else?

How about a nice salad with savoury rice, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, spring onion or whatnot with a Quorn product :) e.g. Quorn sausages? I usually have baked potato, beans and a lovely big salad or use my 2nd HeB for a 57g wholemeal bun or 2 slices of bread from a 400g loaf with quorn sausages and salad mmm then a yogurt

I did a green day on Monday/Tues and had stir fry with noodles, I forgot to put Quorn pieces in lol.. would've bulked it out whoops

Lots of Veg, Quorn Sausages are pretty amazing (tried them for the first time yesterday!) Pasta 'n' Sauces, McCain's Rustic Oven Chips etc.

If you look through the Food Diary thread you'll get tonnes of ideas; I've been making menu's all day and I've stolen :)D) so many amazing ideas from there.

Chilli tomato pasta! Love it!
Egg, chips and pepper bake (usually leave the peppers out now and serve it with tomatos and mushrooms)
Veggie stir fry with lots of noodles
Chips or potato wedges with quorn sausages and peas

Just had a yummy vegetable curry, i had it on a bed of stir fried leeks and cabbage because it needed using up but you could of had it on rice or with spicy SW wedges.

Eggs, baked beans and sw chips is my all time favourite meal

Pasta with a spicy tomato and veg sauce (stri fry lots of peppers, mushrooms, onions, garlic and red chilli flakes, stir in a tin or two of chopped tomatoes or passata)

Ive only ever done green days and i love them as i dont eat meat.

I tend to eat the following:
Vegtable Spagetti Bol
Veg curry and rice
Pasta n sauce
Low fat noodles
Pasta n sauce quiches
Potatoe salads
Jacket potatoes with beans or salad and Cheese
Omlettes
Veggi burger (own) chips egg and beans
Home made pizza
Pasta salads
Stir Frys
Lasagne (Slimming world)
Potatoe Bakes
Veg Pasta Bakes (with tin tomatoes)
Potatoe Wedges
Filled Pitta
Egg Fried Rice
Soups
Cous Cous
Roast Dinners :p

The list goes on.........................:8855:

pasta n sauce added to beaten eggs and cottage cheese baked in the oven.

I'm having my quiche now, and it is awesome! It has a pasta n sauce, eggs, cottage cheese, green beans, sweetcorn, and bacon (can be used as a HExB on green days). Served with a nice crispy salad and fat free vinegrette..yummm

My absolute favourite at the moment is Asda Chickpea Dahl with cous cous!! Yummy and really filling.
