What to have with Bolognese other than Pasta?

    My lovely mum is making me a Quorn bolognese tonight for my dinner but I want to steer clear from pasta as 1, it gives me severe stomach cramps and 2, its quite high in points for the amount you get? Any one have any ideas on what to have with it please? Thanks x

    I have bolognaise with beansprouts!! I love it! Like you, I try and steer clear of pasta..... You could also have it with a jacket potato?

    Calorie counting/low carb(following SW principles where possible)
    Maybe cook some cauli and broccoli and leave it a bit crunchy and put the spag Bol on top of that. Used to do that with chilli all the time :)

    Thanks for your ideas girlies. Think I'm gonna stroll down the supermarket too and get some inspiration!
    By the way, I am a bit confused with regards to the pp system for jacket potatoes. If I buy a small potato do I count the points before or after baking? Ahh! Lol x

    I always weight before cooking and its not gave me any probs...i'd have it with loadsa veg and garlic roast potatoes!! yummmm x

    Make some vegetable noodles. Using a vegetable peeler make long strips of courgettes, carrots and leeks and then quickly dry stir fry them. Put your bolognaise on top and no extra PP

    i had large flat mushrooms grilled with bolognese on top tonight and it was delicious

    BEFORE!! lol always always before :p as when you bake it the (think i've got this right) water evaporates? therefore making the spud lighter then what it would be raw! :p anyway yes BEFORE always BEFORE :p
