What a great thread with lots of ideas. I wish I could be so organised. I change my mind like I change me knickers so I would eat something completely different to what I had planned lol x

I plan Thursday to Thursday so this weeks was
Thurs: roasted butternut squash risotto
Fri:sweet chilli chicken, jacket pots salad
Sat: pork chops mash and veg
Sun: chicken chips and salad
Mon: beef goulash, taglietelle and cabbage
Tues: chickpea Dahl, and rice with broccoli
Wed: gammon egg chips tomatoes mushrooms and mushy peas

Tesco do a meal planner that gives you ideas, I put in recipes for less 3% fat and most were adaptable!

I really must get back to proper meal planning for the week ahead, but finding it more difficult now it's just me. Really don't feel like spending much time cooking when there is only me to feed - plus don't have much room in the freezer yet to do any batch cooking.

Might occupy myself at the weekend by doing some batch cooking - thinking about it, I'll need to use up some of the stuff from the freezer for the batch cooking, so will free up some room in there for my home made ready meals!

Spag bol, lasagne, chilli (though ex used to make the best chilli so maybe not!), something with pork mince, quiche to use up some of the salmon fillets... hmmm, proper meals for the next couple of weeks then :)

Weds: Leftover Roastie veg stew
Thu: BNS & spinach spicy soup
Fri: Posh tagine
Sat: Falafels with roast pumpkin hummus, salad & spicy wedges
Sun: Winter vegetable cobbler
Mon: Eritrean Stew
Tue: Egyptian red lentil soup
Wed: Leftovers as at college
Thu: Makhani dhal

I've got a blank notebook and have written up daily plans too that suit my workdays, so when I'm doing my online shopping I can look up my days, and shop accordingly.
I also make one meal a moveable feast, fir instance today's was to be chick pea Dahl and savoury rice, but had paprika chicken and home cooked spicy Spanish rice. It means that I still have the Dahl and savoury rice on standby. Sometimes it's egg and chips, because life gies on and sometimes it's not possible to cook!

Yes I do and post it on my own thread - I wonder if anyone reads it lol.

It helps me buy the right stuff and stick to plan
