1 other question... sorry...
am away with friends this weekend at cottage in wales - yipee and we are having home made local food delivered
Main Course Choice (this will prob be my big night after WI)
Beef & Guinness pie with pastry or fish pie with creamy mash..

What do you think will be best??

Whats served with the main course? veg? If so i would take the beef pie and take the pastry off (get some kind person who is with you to do so you are not tempted to nibble!)

Also looked in the book and ready meal fishermans pie (med size) 15.5 and 28grs beef wellington 2.5, so will use these as a guide.
am gonna take some plain veggies with me.

yeah i'd go for the pie and take the pastry off! a nice fruit salad is always a lovely free idea for a desert x
