Wondering if anyone could help. I Cooked a chicken last night and removed all the fat. Is this free?

I don't go to a group so sadly don't know, but I do the same thing - roast a whole chicken, keep in fridge and then take all skin and fat off prior to eating. I'd been assuming it's ok as obviously it's cheaper this way, so I hope I'm right...
