Why is week 2 harder??

    Hiya I'm on week 2 of ss, and have lost approx 1 1/2 stone in 13 days :) so am happy.

    But I am feeling hungry again :-( I've been 100% other than... I've been drinking fizzy flavoured water, and only about 3 glasses of it. Is it feeling harder cos of this? And maybe not drinking enough? :-( I feel like I did in 1st few days :-( it's so soul destroying cos I've done so well, and can't believe how this is going :)
    Please help :-/

    Fizzy water always makes me feel hungry, whether or not I'm dieting. I stay away from it!

    And it can never be stressed enough that you need to drink those 3 (or 2.5 or whatever) litres of water every day! It will help with the hunger but will also help keep you healthy whilst on this diet! :)

    Oops, meant to also say just get thru it, the feeling will pass and then you'll be fine again. Hang in there :)

    Fizzy=Full of Air!

    Fizzy drinks are full of fizzy bubbles. These bubbles will make your stomach expand more so than water. creating more space in your tummy and making you hungry.

    You will still lose the weight, just feel hungry! My mum is on SS and she drinks soda water and has the same problem, i just have flat water and coffee and feel great.

    Heyy I'm on week 2! .. And my god I am finding it hard! I'm on ss My first week was a breeze! Except 1. Night I had a quorn salad but out of crappy willpower not hunger! But this week every night I've been going to bed about half 8 because I'm really craving EVERYTHING! Hope this passes as I couldn't do this everyweek!
