I really don't like this :-/ I agree with loving yourself no matter what and all that but seriously?! I didn't even know it was possible to be alive at that weight!
She won't be mobile at that weight and have no quality of life.. I don't understand why someone would want that for themselves?!

It's just insane! I don't get it, surely she needs some kind of mental help? It's a death wish?!

Its mind boggling when you see how she looks at the moment and how restricted she is yet she wants to more than double her weight

    Why on earth????

But why would you want to be bed bound, unable to breath or walk or do anything except eat?!

Her husband has left her. And she changed her website to say she has decided to lose weight. Her target is 300lbs so I hope she can get there. I know what its like when you have alot to lose so I hope she is getting the support she needs.

I think it is a real shame. I know how easy it is to get very overweight but I actually think she has a serious eating disorder. And what about her kids, that man is doing her no favours. I totally understand about the whole stigma thing but she has children surely she wants to be alive as long as possible for them? I find the whole thing really sad.

I dont think its fair to blame him  Shes the one whos made the decision, hes not forcing her to eat, shes eating by choice. Its her choice to do this...

I think its just an insult to those who are dying and immobile because of their weight :(

See I blame him almost much because I think she has a eating disorder. If someone was encouraging an anorexic person not to eat I would think that was awful too. He is not fully to blame, she is the one eating after all I just do not think he is helping her. I just think the entire thing is really sad. I can not help but kinda feel sorry for her.

I completely misread this as "Woman wants to reach 11.5st!". Thought it was a thread for someone looking for tips and help etc. That article really is DISGUSTING.... I know everyone should be happy in their own skin, but to have that sort of "goal" is just insane!

That guy she's with sickens me too! I remember watching a documentary once about "Feeders"... All about these guys who like to make women fat. The guy in it used to leave work during the day to go get McDonalds and bring it home to his wife...

I do believe in confidence and having the ability to look how you choose but her poor kids will no doubt spend most of their adult life without a mother. And that's a real shame. :(
