I have decided that this year i need to get out and meet new people and maybe make some new friends, and build up my confidence, i am a housewife, dont work and i am becoming a bit of a hermit, i have just filled in a sent of a form to become a volunteer at a nearby nature park, anyway back onto topic, i was thinking about joining the wi, as part of getting out more, my only worry is i have just turned 40, would i be out of place there or is that a very old fashioned idea i have

I don't know but I could do with something like this too. I'd like to increase our circle of friends as a couple as well- realised at New Year that practically everyone we know has either split up , moved out of the area or emigrated !

i know the 2 good freiends i have/had have both moved away and since then i rarely go out, i need to change this but it is going to be hard
